is the poverty in our black society just as hereditary as their fear the re-entrance of Apartheid?

Nelson Mandela was freed and in the short steps following his freedom, he was inaugurated as the first democratic president of the new south africa... he won the Nobel Peace Prize, the man is a revolutionary--like his peers Ghandi and Theresa he was the epitome of  humanity. he was a martyr for equality and fairness for all. at one point those were the principals the ANC stood for, the fundamental basis upon witch the ANCYL and BCM were formed around, what a fall from grace!

South Africa is run by a president who has a rap sheet
Brett Kebble's assisted suicide uncovered an entire worm hole of gang/drug/crime related parallel to our society
Julius Malema----enough said
Mac Maharaj is under public scrutiny now for his involvement in the countries ongoing corruption epidemic
The Protection of secrecy Bill is silencing the truth
"Aids can be cured by eating a combination of beetroot and garlic." Manto Tshabalala-Msimang, and now our HEALTH MINISTER is dead...

we need to return to the primary principles our forefathers ArchBishop Desmond Tutu, Nelson Mandela, the late OR Tambo and Steve Biko stood for

_gone gropping__

"well knowing South African women i would pretty much expect anything quite honestly "-my colleague laughed as i read the story out aloud to her. Katherine Goldberg was on a flight from Johannesburg OR Tambo airport to Heathrow in the UK on the 24 August when the spirit moved her to grope a male stewardess...
this small clip-pet in the National South African Sunday Times loosely strung together a story about a women flying on Virgin Atlantic who sexually assaulted a man and demanded sex from him... ummmm...
quite frankly, hats off to her for claiming her femininity because women all over the world have had this happen to them atleast # times in this year ALONE! but in the same breath I cry for our beloved world... it's actually gotten too far now...

read the full story and the conclusion of her sentencing her:http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2054500/Katherine-Goldberg-faces-jail-grabbing-Virgin-Atlantic-air-stewards-crotch-drunk.html

all's temporary

funny how the wheel of fortune works.. nothing's ever bad forever and everything wont be good for too long

Writers Block

there are 3 things I hate more than anything in this world... Hypocrites, Liars and Bullies! And whilst I could lament about liars until the roosters throat runs dry my head still heats with the after burn of this Protectiveness of Secrecy Bill:

Very many individuals have stood together against the Bill and their voices have been heard. Now surely the voice of those who are for the daft draft that the state has released should be listened to aswell. If journalists and intellectual minds are singing the songs of freedom of speech them why are they attacking and trying to silence the argument of those who think the bill has some standing?!!! Come now guys..
I have a friend who is fascinated by politics and all the logistical lies it entails, he drools over political press releases and documents like a 12 year old to a new quad bike an he brought forward the notion that most people who are against the bill haven't even read it, that they were being manipulated by the media which upon research I found was a very valid point... No more than an hour after he posted this on his Facebook status was he verbally and electronically attacked and I quote,"enough of your political nonsense *his name* Facebook isn't a place to put this kak" but does facebook not ask what your political veiws are when creating your profile? were these social media sites not created as a platform upon which a person could freely voice their opinion... if you don't like it unfriend, if they're tweeting about it--unfollow it really is a simple fix. Lets us not be hypocrites, lets allow everyone the freedom and allowance to voice their veiws however ignorant or illogical we may think it is, afterall, this is the freedom we ourselves are fighting for...

cats got my tongue

everybodys talking.. but i guess now it's illegal to talk to each other... this secrecy bill is the re-entrance of oppression into South Africas history. We aren't being forced to sweep the truth under the rugg but the government is throwing every Tom Dick and Harry who has an opinion into jail!

Since when has truth ever been conditional and compartmentalized... Omission is betrayl and if the government is deciding to censor certain things, ANYTHING then it makes it obvious that they have something to hide... this is just the tip of the iceberg. When the Apartheid regime was gaining momentum the NP government took the decision to ban certain magazines and press platforms from voicing their opinions... notice any resemblance here???
I dunno, maybe I'm way way way wrong... read the 28 page bill and make you own conclusions:http://www.info.gov.za/view/DownloadFileAction?id=118894
